SOUTHWEST FLORIDA – The deadline for personal and commercial property owners to apply for debris removal is Thursday, March 29.

Lee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties’ deadline to apply for debris pickup ends today.

This is for debris that needs to be picked up by a machine.

The Florida Department of Emergency Management has been helping with pickups since Hurricane Ian, but new requests will not be processed after Wednesday. Residents are encouraged to apply here.
