Welcome To Fort Myers Beach

On Estero Island, Florida

Communities along and to the west of Interstate 75 will need to be on guard for some isolated but strong thunderstorms late this afternoon and early this evening. Though not every neighborhood will pick up some rain this evening, areas, where storms do develop, could be stormy for at least a while tonight.

Late tonight temperatures will remain warm, with overnight lows slipping into the low and mid 70s.

On Wednesday, the overall weather pattern will be similar to what we’re seeing today with mainly sunny and hot weather in the morning followed by some isolated but strong afternoon storms. Temperatures will again peak in the low and mid 90s after lunchtime.

On Thursday and Friday this week, the winds will turn onshore from the Gulf of Mexico. When this happens the opportunity of some coastal showers in the morning tends to develop. The wind shift will also cap our afternoon temperatures, with low 90s expected by the end of the week (instead of the mid 90s we’ve been hitting of late).
