Parkgoers said they’re disheartened to hear about this crime that occurred in their beautiful park.

“It’s unfortunate,” said Dave Shear, who exercises often at Buckingham Park.

Shear said it’s disappointing that people have no respect or regard for people or places.

Araceli Reyes brings her children to the park and said she hopes the suspects are found.

“It’s very sad. I don’t understand why people would do something like that,” said Reyes.

The repairs will now cost the county an estimated $2,050.
