Dig deeper into the history and nature of Fort Myers Beach. Mound House is a natural history museum with six permanent exhibits with artifacts from the native Calusa, early U.S. Latino settlers, and later Anglo-American pioneers. Housed inside the historic 1921 Case house, the museum sits on top of a 2,000 year old Calusa shell mound along Estero Bay.
